As much as I love to receive gifts, nothing makes me happier than giving gifts to the people I love. So when it came to my bridesmaids, I wanted to spoil them and say thank you for being so amazing during my engagement year! From my engagement dinner, to the bridal shower & bachelorette party, they have worked together to make sure that everything goes off without a hitch! I wanted girly accessories that would be perfect for them to use on the wedding day and fun gag gifts that could be used during the bachelorette party shenanigans, so Icing was the perfect place to go! These pink striped boxes housed the shot glasses, lip gloss, jewelry, sunglasses, flasks etc. and I knew that they would all love these feminine floral robes! Lastly, I added in a hand written thank you card so that I could write them each a special message telling them how grateful I am for their friendship. I can't wait to surprise them with everything on our girls bachelorette weekend in Temecula!

Have you ever been a bridesmaid? Did you buy bridesmaid gifts when you were a bride?
I'd love to hear what you gave your bridal party!

Thanks so much for reading and to Icing Stores for partnering with me!

In bloom

Top: Ebay, Bottoms: Charlotte Russe (similar here and here), Shoes: Lulu's (old), Bag: Ivanka Trump (old), Earrings: Guess (similar)

The girly girl in me quickly rejoiced when I put on this polka dotted top, ESPECIALLY, when I paired it with these white bell bottom pants. It was love at first sight! I love wearing pink, but lately, I've been on a bit of a purple kick. Not only does the color remind me of my fave flower (bougainvillea, obviously) but it's a color that makes me feel like a powerful woman. Seriously! Do you ever put something on and instantly feel like a powerful and bold woman? I know I do! This outfit is definitely one of my favorites, because I also feel like it's a great alternative for your typical business attire. It's business with a little twist.

I definitely wanted to keep this look clean and simple, so I went for these white pants. Let me just say, that bell bottoms are never going to go out of style. I swear, they're my favorite pants to wear at the moment, especially with sunny LA weather. They're easy, breezy, and effortlessly chic. I didn't want to take away from my color scheme, so I paired this outfit with a gorgeous pair of suede purple pumps and a white floral clutch.

What color makes you feel bold? I'd love to know!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Feeling Royal

Dress: Jovani, Jewelry from Icing Stores: Earrings, Bracelet, Ring, Necklace, Shoes: Carlo Paziolini, Bag: Gedebe

Is it just me or is it hard to focus on anything but the royal wedding lately? I know it's one of those things that people are either totally obsessed with or don't follow at all, but I happen to be one of those people who are on the edge of their seat in anticipation for the big day! I buy all of the tabloid fodder pertaining to royal couple and I'm DYING to see what the future princess (probably not her actual title) will wear. To think that this American girl is going to be a PRINCESS is just the coolest thing, no? Since I'm a super fan, I had to style Icing Store's "royal engagement" inspired ring. In doing so, I thought about what I would wear on the days leading up to my own wedding, which is just a few months away and this little white dress was the first thing that came to mind. It's conservative - yet sexy, feminine, yet bold and has unique high-fashion details. Being a bride isn't always an easy task, I mean the wedding invitations alone took up about a month of my life that I'll never get back, (maybe a slight exaggeration) but shopping for bridal jewelry for you and your bridesmaids certainly is at Icing Stores. Stop by one of their stores to stock up on all of you favorite pieces for wedding season and if you're as excited as I am for the royal wedding grab their "royal engagement" ring and be GLUED to your TV screen on May 19th - I know I will be!

It sounds like a clichĂ©, but I'm a sucker for long walks along the beach at sunset. Especially if it means I can wear a glamorous floral dress. I love wearing maxi dresses during the spring, because they're perfect for sunny days and breezy nights (just add a denim jacket!). I fell head over heels for this little number because it's pink, hugs my body in all the right places, has a fabulous cut out back and it's so feminine! I couldn't help but pair this dress with a cute woven bag, I've been obsessed with bags like these, they remind me of little picnic baskets and they're totally on trend right now. They're so versatile and go with just about everything. I paired this outfit with cute nude sandals and a pair of gold hoops.
I'm also a huge fan of little white dresses, like the one that my blogger babe, Sydne, is wearing! Lulus has a huge selection of white dresses and I swear I want to buy Every. Single. One.

As much as I love maxi dresses, I'm also a fan of mini dresses with lots of lace. For night outs with my fiancĂ©, or if I have a summer wedding to attend, I love wearing something that will hug my curves and make a statement. This  blue lace dress did just that! I swear the lace pattern on this dress is even more gorgeous in person, I'm obsessed and already can't wait to wear it again. I definitely wanted this dress to be the center of attention, so I added a few simple sparkles to keep the focus on it.

When it comes to any type of occasion, Lulus has it all! If you're looking for a dress to take on vacation, a gorgeous prom dress for that special day, or for a formal dinner you're going to, check out Lulus!
They do a phenomenal job at keeping up with all the new trends and this spring they're all about floral, color, and maxi dresses - all of my favorite things.

What are some of your favorite spring and summer trends?

Greener Pastures

Dress: Tesoro Collective (similar), Bag: Timabee, Flats: L.K. Bennette via Zappos, Earrings: Adorn Monde (similar)
Photos by: Jonny Villanueva

When I want to feel a little more easy breezy in the spring and summer, I can't help but to pick out a long, sheer dress. For sunny days, nothing feels better on the skin than the touch of something silky and lightweight. I've been a fan of dresses like these for as long as I can remember. They're absolutely perfect for sunny days, pair them with a cute pair of flats and you're ready to get started with your day. For this look, I didn't want to take any attention from the dress, because the print is gorgeous. However, I did match my lipstick with the pink flowers and I loved how my look turned out! I also added this chic forest green bag and some minimal earrings that I've been obsessed with.

What are your favorite dresses to wear in the spring?
