Spring is here but our weather has been somewhat unpredictable! Usually, LA has easy breezy weather during the Spring, but lately it's been so windy, cold and grey. As much as I would love to curl up on the couch with a blanket and a side of hot cocoa I can't. So, on days where the weather's cold and gloomy, I like to add a pop of clor, like this jacquard coat! I'm completely obsessed with it. It's colorful, elegant, and effortlessly chic. I especially love that it has a metallic hue so when the sun hits it it sparkles a bit.

I've found myself wearing this coat out more often than I'd like to admit, but trust me, it's hard not to. On days where I have meetings back-to-back or errands to run, I like to be comfortable yet put together (unfortunately, sweatpants aren't going to cut it). When I have hectic days like these, I always make sure to wear something casual, but still add a bit of glamour here and there. For this look, I decided to go back to the basics with some skinny jeans and a white satin top. I love the way gold contrasts with blue, so I went for these gorgeous bauble drop earrings, my suede booties and a glamorous gold purse. I'm obsessed with how well everything paired together without being too matchy matchy.

What clothing item are you obsessed with at the moment?

Memories In Montauk

Sure, the 3 hour drive in bumper-to-bumper traffic and the fact that my hair was in a constant state of frizz the whole time that I was in the Hamptons was a bit of a bummer, but the charm of Montauk surpassed all of the quirks that came with it. I always hear New Yorkers talk about "going to the Hamptons". They do it in such a way that makes you feel like you need to see what it's all about. They make it sound like this peaceful escape from the craziness of New York City, and that is exactly what it was. Once you get on to Long Island, Montauk seems like a lifetime away (cue the are we there yets!) since it is the furthest east point on the island, but with the never ending drive comes never ending views. Danny, Laura and I spent our days eating Ice Cream and strolling the streets of Bridgehampton and our nights watching the waves crash along the shore in Montauk. This day was by far one of my favorites. There was no one at the beach but us, and you could probably hear the echo of our laughter for miles - perfect for decompressing after a hectic time in the city.

When I close my eyes tightly, I still hear the sound of the Atlantic ocean and feel the sand between my toes. I don't miss the humidity, but I do miss all of the memories that we made in Montauk.

Bright Yellow

Now that spring is here, I can't help but wear pops of color everyday! I love how sunny and forgiving the weather is in LA, I can get away with wearing an effortlessly chic dress along with a beautiful faux fur jacket. Lately, I've had more and more meetings than I can count, so I was excited when I had a lunch date planned with my favorite blogger babes, because that meant whipping out this bright yellow jacket. I definitely knew that I wanted to revolve the rest of my outfit around this baby, because I fell in love with the specks of white and bright yellow.

I decided to pair this jacket with a cute yellow dress from Amazon, can I just say that it's such a comfy dress!? Seriously, it was so movable yet still had a nice cut. I'm usually not one to wear boxy type of dresses, but this one didn't look too much like a moo moo, as my fiancĂ© would call it, and I loved how chic the high neck was. I also paired it off with strappy olive green pumps, I loved how nicely the colors complimented each other. To top the rest of the outfit off, I went with a structured Henri Bendel handbag and round sunnies.

Whenever the season changes, I always like to gain some inspiration from either the weather or the natural surroundings that occur from the season change. If you're not sure what to wear, definitely try taking the season into consideration for some quick inspo!

What are your fave spring colors to wear?

Spring Layers

90's suit jackets have made a huge comeback, they're everywhere, and I'm completely obsessed! There's something about wearing plaid coats, like this one, that make me feel powerful. I'm sure you know exactly what I mean.
Like I mentioned in my previous post, the weather in LA has been cold, so wearing a jacket is a must when you're out. Even though it's been a little chilly, the sun's still shinning, so layering is perfect for a time like this. I've had this plaid coat in my closet for a while and I was looking forward to styling it on a windy day like this one!

For this outfit, I really wanted to incorporate a little bit of spring color, you know me, I always love to add a little color in my outfits, so I went for a cozy knit top and a sassy burgundy mini skirt. I loved this combo, it was the perfect combination of spring and winter. I topped this outfit off with a faux fur scarf, burgundy clutch to add just a bit more color, and my favorite brown pumps.

When it comes to fashion, never be afraid to experiment with new trends, it's all about taking chances and figuring out what goes well with your personality!

What's your favorite trend this year?

On days where I want to add a little edge to my outfit, the first thing that I think of is a leather jacket. A leather jacket can  instantly add some 'va va voom' to your look, every girl should have one in their closet! Of course, you all know how much I’m a fan of pink, so I immediately fell for this rose gold leather jacket.

Rose gold is a beautiful, feminine, and unique color. It looks absolutely gorgeous on all skin tones and it makes me feel a little girlier than usual. For this outfit I thought I’d pair this jacket with a geometric crop top, pencil skirt, and some nude pumps. I wanted to make rose gold the center of this outfit, so just to add a little more flare I went with this rose gold clutch! I loved this outfit, and it was perfect for my lunch date with my girlfriends. It’s a perfect combination of feminine and chic. What more could you possibly want, right?

Do you love rose gold as much as I do?

One of the most romantic days of the year is right around the corner! I love Valentine’s Day, because it’s the perfect occasion to get glam, go out, and show your loved one just how much you truly love them. This year, I wanted to have a couple of options for Valentine's Day, so I got three different dresses from Lulu's. Lulu's is the perfect place to shop for Valentine's, they have so many options for everyone. If you want something that hugs your curves in all the right places, Lulu's is the place. If you want something a little more chic and laid back, Lulu's won't disappoint and if you want something flirty yet ladylike Lulu's has that too! One of the reasons why I love them so much is because there are so many options, not just for Valentine’s Day, but for any special occasion. I visit their site when I have a fancy dinner to go to, an anniversary to celebrate with my fiancĂ©, or simply just to treat myself.

I fell absolutely head over heels for these dresses, the first one caught my eye because of the back opening. I think it’s absolutely stunning when a woman shows her back, it’s elegant, feminine and sexy. Usually, red is the choice of color for V-Day, but this year, I wanted to try burgundy instead. Next, red is usually my go-to shade for Valentine's Day but this time I thought I'd find a flirty LBD. The embroidery on this dress was gorgeous. It's simple, yet striking. Perfect for a Valentine's or "galentine's" (if you will) dinner with girlfriends. Velvet was another texture that I wanted to try this year. I loved this dress because it was classy yet sexy and oh so soft. I paired it with my faux fur coat to mix textures and for a glamorous monochromatic look.

Just because it's Valentine's Day, it doesn't mean that you have to go all out. Don't stress! Remember to show your loved one how much you love them with a simple gesture. A text that says 'have a nice day,'  a handwritten card, or a simple 'good morning, handsome' can mean the absolute world to them. It's always the little things that count. I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day!

What type of looks do you gravitate towards on the most romantic day of the year?
