When I think of fall's color palette I immediately picture burgundy sweaters, plaid button-downs and olive booties. But what if you want to stand out from the crowd? What if you're sick of bunt orange and earth tones? Well naturally, you'd reach for the exact opposite, pastels! I always love a pretty pastel moment and when I was shopping for unexpected fall outerwear this Blank NYC jacket was screaming my name! It's pink, plush and oh-so-perfect for when the temperature dips. I paired it with a matching sweater and distressed denim. Speaking of denim, Blank NYC's denim has always been a go-to of mine (remember this pair?)! Their jeans fit like a glove and the distressed styles are always perfectly executed. Picking up my favorite fall trends is a breeze on They always ship everything fast and I know that they'll take my returns with no hassles if something doesn't workout. These pieces are sure to be on heavy rotation throughout the long Thanksgiving weekend.

I hope you're having a great Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!

Seeing Clearly with My Zenni's

Sponsored by Zenni Optical

The travel bug bit me a while ago, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of venturing into new places and discovering the most amazing cities in the world. My travels wouldn’t be the same without my favorite pair of Zenni glasses. Honestly, without them I would not be able to get the picture perfect shots that I love to share with you all, and I most definitely would not be able to enjoy the charm and beauty that Amsterdam has to offer. I love having eyewear that is chic, fashion-forward and functional.

As a creative, my office can be anywhere I am. When I’m not traveling, I love working on new content concepts or getting inspired by other blogs or magazines. Having a pair of glasses as versatile as these help me get through the day. Whether I am strolling along the beautiful canals of Amsterdam, editing content on my computer, or styling my next fall look my glasses are right by my side.  I know my Zenni’s will never go out of style.

If you're in need of new glasses, I highly recommend Zenni, trust me, you're bound to find yourself a new favorite pair of glasses in a matter of seconds. I know I did!

Flowers & Curls

Dress: Misa Los Angeles (similar here and here), Shoes: Loeffler Randal (similar), Bag: Brahmin (similar here and here)
Photos by: Jonny Villanueva
For the summertime, one of my favorite things to wear was maxi dresses. They're long, flowy and so comfortable when it's scorching hot outside. Summer in LA is always overwhelmingly hot, but I can't say that I didn't enjoy it. While the heat continues to linger, I'll continue to wear pretty little floral numbers like this one. Sorry, fall.

On a side note, I haven't worn my hair curly since high school. I've been getting keratin treatments for the past 8 years, and I forgot how much I loved these curls. While keeping my hair wavy is much lower maintenance (you can literrally get up and go), I miss the natural texture. So you'll be seeing these curls much more often.

Marigold Moment

Suit: Zara (similar here and here), Shoes: Jimmy Choo (similar here and here), Earrings: Zara (similar here and here), Bag: Solace London

Fall is finally in the air and I'm absolutely loving it. Just because the weather is colder and the skies are a little gloomier, it doesn't mean we should stick to neutrals. The leaves are changing from bright green to light yellows and dark reds, so take some inspiration from it for your next outfit, that's what I did! You all know I always love pops of color, and fall foliage is a buffet of color hanging from the trees, it's definitely one of my favorite things about this time of year. I'm such a fan of that rich marigold color that the leaves change into, it's the first thing that popped into my mind when I tried on this suit. It is a bold, rich, shade of marigold and it's perfect for the season.

Who says that suits need to be a solid or neutral color? I totally beg to differ! A color like this one definitely needs to come out and shine, especially on gloomy days. I paired my suit with nude heels, and golden hoops. To tie the whole look together and, to go off to my meeting, I added in a gorgeous structured bag.

Will you be rocking suits this fall?

Clairol Root Touch Up

We've all had those days when you're dressed up, makeup's ready, you're feeling gorgeous, glamorous and ready to go - only to realize that your roots are starting to show or that a rogue gray hair has decided to take up real estate, smack dab in the middle of your head. It's the WORST.

While we all love the thought of going to the salon and getting your roots touched up, it's not always doable and at this point, it's a little late for that! I think we've all been there. I'm always so busy and constantly on-the-go, going from one event (or city) to the next, so I'm thrilled that Clairol has the perfect fast and easy root touch-up solution in the form of a concealing powder! Temporary Root Touch-Up Concealing Powder, has seriously become a life saver for me over the past few months.

Touching up my roots when I'm in a hurry has never been easier. In addition to being super convenient, it's great for using in-between colorings for so many reasons: it's water-resistant, lightweight and natural feeling, and only takes a few seconds to apply. Afterwards, my color looks instantly refreshed! I know, I couldn't believe it myself when I first used it. Also, did I mention that you can use it on your brows too? Amazing, right? It's so versatile, and who doesn't love a product that can serve a dual purpose!? Clairol Root Touch-Up comes with a small brush to ensure precise coverage when you use it. It also doesn't stain your skin or your clothes, so don't fret, your silk blouse is totally safe! Last, but not least, as easy as it is to apply, it's just as easy to remove, just shampoo and condition as usual. I mean, it's so good, you can't make this stuff up!

I'm currently using the shade 'Light Brown,' but, there's a total of six gorgeous shades to suit everyone's needs. This is definitely a must-have for all my girls on-the-go that want a quick fix when they need it. It's perfect to take on a trip or even on a honeymoon (ahem! I know I'll be packing it!) for a touch up on-the-go! In a matter of seconds you can have salon perfect locks, without anyone knowing that you haven't colored your hair in a few weeks. Are you obsessed as I am? I'd love to hear some of your favorite beauty hacks!

Denim isn't something I wear often, but when I do decide to slip on a pair of jeans, I like for them to 1: Be different then all of the other ones that are hanging in my closet and 2: To fit like a glove. When I put on these baby blue super soft Hudson jeans I wondered why it is that I don't wear denim more often. I think it's because skirt and dresses make me feel feminine and flirty but I must say, seeing how these hug my hips, made me realize that jeans are definitely feminine too. I have to venture outside of my comfort zone more often, because I'm always so happy with what I find. I kept things a bit retro with fun sunnies and a fringed bag. Definitely feeling a 70's vibe.

Do you love denim or are you more into skirts and dresses?

Thanks for visiting me!
