Masculine Meets Feminine

Blazer: Asos (mens), Top: Frame Denim, Earrings: Vintage, Skirt: Avec Les Filles, Clutch: Erin Dana (old), Shoes: Chinese Laundry

Blazers are one of those fashion items that are never going to go out of style. I think that every girl should own one, or two (or ten!). The beauty of a good blazer is that it can take your outfit to a whole other level, whether it's a polished look you're going for, or something a bit more edgy, a blazer is just guaranteed to add a bit more polish and sophistication. I found this little blue beauty in the men's department at ASOS and I just had to snatch it up. We can't let boys have all the fun! The fit is classic, while the color and subtle polka dot details make it just a bit playful. I added in a striped tee and a black button front skirt for a menswear meets girly-girl moment.

Do you ever raid the men's department?

Girls Night Out Outfit

Dress: Guess (similar), Jacket: Alexander McQueen (old) (similar), Booties: Gianvito Rossi (similar), Clutch: Erin Dana (old)

A great recipe for a successful girls night out? Black lace, sexy booties and a few overpriced cocktails at the latest and greatest trendy, LA hotspot. Girls night is a time I always look forward to. I get all dolled up, have time to catch up with my girlfriends and unwind. I recently bought this chic, embroidered lace dress and I fell completely in love with it. It's perfect for a night out because it's short and sassy, but the lace detail gives it a hint of elegance. From the moment I saw it I couldn't wait to pair it with my leather moto jacket to give it an edgier flare, along with these suede booties. Girls night is never complete without a statement clutch. This one is great because of the unique shape - gives my outfit a little extra visual interest.

What do you like to slip into for girls night out?

Trying to find a trace off fall in LA is a about as tough as trying to find a needle in a haystack lately. So as I update my wardrobe for the season, I gravitate towards versatile, transitional pieces. When it comes to booties, I not only want them to be stylish, but also comfortable! That's why I love Lucky Brand. They're an all American brand that I can always count on. I know I often talking about Zappos, but they're no joke! They have free shipping and a 365 day return policy. Who doesn't love free shipping?! It's been ridiculously hot here in LA, but it's slowly beginning to feel like fall, so I was more than happy pull out my plaid skirt and camel coat from my closet. They paired perfectly with these comfy booties.

What are your go-to fall styles?

On The Move With Rockport

Sponsored by Zappos
Sweater: Tommy Hilfiger, Skirt: Xoxo, Jacket: Sheinside, Shoes: Rockport via Zappos

I still remember the first time I went abroad. My eyes got so big at every twist and turn. Seeing the culture around me was a sensory experience that I had never had never felt before. And, in that moment, I got bitten by the travel bug. Suddenly, I had this new found curiosity for the world around me and I wanted to discover every inch of it. I had become one of those "movers" that I was always hearing about. So now, I make it a priority to see as many sights as I can. As much as I love to get a new stamp on my passport, I recently started planning more local trips. We have so many hidden gems that are right under our noses here in the United States. That's why one of my besties and I decided to plan a little road trip through the south.

One of the many stops on our journey, was to a beautiful and historic covered bridge in Gowensville, South Carolina. As you can imagine, covered bridges aren't something that we have a lot of in California, especially LA, so we were tickled at the thought of seeing one. Of course, any adventure calls for great shoes that are not only stylish but also comfortable. Rockport's pumps were just that. They took me from a lovely breakfast at our B&B to shopping on the streets of Tryon and strolling under this gorgeous red bridge. They were also perfect for a long day of driving. When I want a shoe that is polished, put together and comfortable I know that I can always count on Rockport and when I want it to arrive fast I know that I can count on Zappos. Shoes
that are perfect for the movers of the world. I like the sound of that.

I would love to hear about adventures that you have been on lately.
