In Collaboration with One Colorado
Last weekend I did an Instagram takeover with one of my go-to shopping spots in Pasadena - One Colorado, and along the way I discovered fun new places and visited some of my old tried-and-true staples. At the top of my list? Il Fornaio! This Italian Eatery is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, brunch with girlfriends or even just an afternoon coffee pick-me-up. Their coffee is always perfectly brewed and their dinners transport you to Italy, so there's no question why I love it so much! My next spot was Sugarfina. Something about this little candy boutique always manages to lure me in and has me leaving with a handful of sweets. Their shop is perfectly decorated with pretty pastels and they are outfitted with every candy under the sun so you're guaranteed to leave with something you'll love. Sugarfina is great for gifts, pretty Instagram pictures (sorry, I'm such a blogger!) or to pick up something sweet to snack on. Of course, since this was a weekend takeover it included date night! Boyfriend and I always love to have dinner at Sushi Roku. Whether we watch the chefs prepare the rolls while sitting at the sushi bar, or have a cozy table for two, it's always one of our favorite places to go on Friday and Saturday nights. Lastly, you guys know that I always love fresh flowers and pretty flower shops, so when I discovered Gilly Flower shop it was love at first sight! They have a gorgeous assortment of bouquets and individual stems so you can create your own arrangement, or pick up one of their expertly crafted ones. TWIGZZ at One Colorado is also a new favorite of mine and is the perfect place to stop for fresh succulents.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of my favorite places in Pasadena! This wonderful city is full of history and charm so I could go on forever, but these are just a few of my faves. I'd love to hear some of your favorite spots in Pasadena!

Scent Of The Season

Top: Style We, Skirt: Alice & Olivia (dress worn as skirt), Shoes: B Brian Atwood (old), Bag: Gedebe, Earrings: H&M, Ring: Capwell & Co., Fragrance: Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir
Photos by: Jonny Villanueva
When it comes to my fragrance, I want something that is bold and sexy and Jo Malone's scents have always been just that. I've tried so many over the years, but lately, I just can't get enough of the sweet-yet-musky tones in "Pomegranate Noir". It's the perfume that I reach for if I want to feel feminine and flirty on date night, or if I need a little extra spring in my step for a business meeting. While I am quite the girly girl, I like for my fragrance to be strong and powerful. Pomegranate Noir is all of that and more, that's why it is my favorite scent for the season.

What do you look for in a fragrance?

California Cool

Hat: J Crew, Top: Kristinit LA, Jeans: Just Fab, Shoes: Chinese Laundry, Bag: Mansur Gavriel, Car: 777 Exotics Rental
Photos by: Jonny Villanueva

I've cruised the streets of Los Angeles many times, and usually it's while staring at the car in front of me while sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic. But never have I cruised around in a fire engine red, convertible, classic ride - until last week that is. I felt like the ultimate cool girl riding around LA in this beauty. Sure, it's no fun to have the top down while you're sitting on a smog-infested LA freeway, so I figured it best to take her up to Palos Verdes for a cruise along the coast. The wind was blowing in my hair and I felt like a character from an old hollywood movie. Tony, Danny and I enjoyed a picnic at Abalone cove and watched the sunset on the water. I'm so excited to share an awesome drone video that we took. It will be up very soon. In the meantime I hope you enjoy these "California Cool" photos that Jonny and I took under the beautiful Palm Trees in Beverly Hills.

Thanks so much for coming by my blog!
