This might come as a surprise but I'm a fan of business attire. Yeah, you read that right.  I love when I can incorporate a gorgeous pair of a pink cigarette pants into a polished and professional outfit. First off, cigarette pants are something that every girl should have in their closet. Whether it’s a pair that’s black, olive, pink, brown, whatever you prefer, you’ve got to have it! Trust me, they’re perfect for a day on the job, a cocktail date, or dinner with friends. On days where I have errands to run or meetings to attend, I like to dress to impress. I was planning a million outfits the minute I got my hands on these pink pants. I paired them with a white polka dot top, a faux fur jacket, a white mini bag and chic cap toed heels.

Merry Christmas!

Ruffles & Corsets & Florals, Oh My

Dress: Bebe, Shoes: Stuart Weitzman (similar here and here), Belt: Forever 21 (similar here and here), Bag: Chanel

Lately, I've been feeling a little girlier than usual and I know that I've said it many times before, but what I love most about fashion is how easily I can express myself with an outfit. One of my favorite things to do is get dressed up, get glam, and pick any outfit I want from my closet. Now that the holidays are here I get even more excited to dress up. So, for today's outfit, I went with a beautiful floral print dress. You guys, not only is it floral print, but it also has a ruffle detail on the bottom and if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for ruffles. Floral print is always fun, whether its spring, summer or even winter (in SoCal anyways). When I first tried on this dress, it fit a little loose, so I thought to myself, what can I do to make it a little more form fitting, but still keep it sleek and chic? A wide corset belt did just the trick and it added a sexy/edgy vibe.

What are some of your favorite accessories to add to your outfits?

Simon G. Sparkles

Dress: Macduggal, Bag: Gucco, Ring: Simon G., Earrings: Simon G., Bracelet: Simon G.
In Collaboration With Simon G.

Sure, slipping into the perfect cocktail dress is bound to give you a sparkle in your eye, but can anything really sparkle as bright as a diamond? Simon G. 's jewelry is as elegant, timeless and feminine as it is sparkly and, it's the perfect addition to all of my favorite party looks of the season. When I spotted this gown with it's plunging back, I knew that I wanted to style it with glamorous jewelry that would add visual interest without competing. I added a pendent necklace to my back for a little je ne sais quoi, classic diamond studs, a head turning tennis bracelet and a gorgeous cocktail ring. This look was perfect for my fiancés annual holiday party and it made me feel like the bell of the ball.

Are you heading to any fun parties this holiday season? Do you love statement jewelry as much as I do?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

In Collaboration with Bebe

There's something about the holiday season that puts me in a great mood. The morning dew that visits my bedroom window, the twinkle in the lights that decorate the city, and the cold winter weather, are just a few of my favorite things. Whenever this time of year rolls around, we tend to visit our family more than usual or go to fun holiday parties - whatever the occasion, we always want to look our absolute best, right? Right! So you can imagine my excitement when Bebe reached out to me to style their festive new holiday and winter collection. I love playing with color, prints and textures, so I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw their amazing selection.

For my first look, I styled this beautiful ombre faux fur coat. You girls know I'm a sucker for pink, so I was thrilled that this coat paired up perfectly with my blush colored dress. To add a little more visual interest to this look, I added in a burgundy snake print purse and gold sandals. A perfect glam look for a holiday party or a night out in the city. For my second look, I styled these fabulous faux leather pants. What I love most about these pants is how stretchy they are! I mean, we do a lot of eating this time of year, so that's certainly something that I can appreciate. I also love the gold stripe that they have going up the side and the gold zipper in the front. They are the perfect balance of sporty and sexy.  I styled them with a long black and gold duster, a green tank and fierce black patent leather booties. For a casual glam holiday outfit.

LauraAn & I had too much fun hanging at the Ace Hotel downtown while shooting these looks. Which outfit is your fave?

Blushing in Big Bear

Sweater: Nordstrom: Dress (worn as skirt): Lulu's (similar), Jacket: Lucy Paris (similar), Earrings: Bauble Bar, Bag: YSL, Shoes: Just Fab

I stumbled upon these photos from my trip to Big Bear last fall and they made my heart so happy. Maybe I'm partial to sunsets, but the head-to-toe pink outfit didn't hurt either. As much as I am a city girl, I often find myself reminiscing about days spent at our remote log cabin in the San Bernardino National Forest. It just makes me realize how much I love to get out of the city and to explore places that are more peaceful and serene. No sirens, no traffic jams, no billboards. Just the lake, the nature and cute cabins in the woods. I'm currently (mentally) planning a winter trip to somewhere covered in snow. I would love to hear your recommendations!

As always, thank you for taking the time to read my blog!

Weekend Tailgating

Top: Who What Wear x Target, Jeans: Target (similar), Coat: Ellen Tracy (similar), Scarf: Kohl's (similar here and here), Shoes: Zappos (similar),

Whether I'd like to admit it or not, a long Thanksgiving weekend, wouldn't be the same without a little football. My fiancĂ© is a huge fan so I (unfortunately) sometimes have to take one for the team. As much as I love to pass on watching football on TV, I always love to go to the stadium to see the games in real life. While I don't understand much of what's going on, I still love to hear the energy of the fans, dress up in my rams gear and to order hot dogs and beer. Of course a little tailgating before the big game always adds to the experience. We arrived early to have some appetizers and bubbly. No tailgating party would be complete without fun music so I brought my BOSE Sound Link Micro Bluetooth speaker along to play all of our favorite hits. This speaker is small but the sound is powerful. It's also rugged, easy to use and waterproof, making it a must have for any fun fall adventures you're heading on.

Are you a football fan? Do you love tailgating picnics as much as I do?

I hope you had a great long weekend! Thanks for visiting.

Polished Parisian Stripes

Dress: Topshop (here and here), Hat: Nordstrom (similar), Shoes: Alice & Olivia, Bag: Salar Milano
Photos By: Jonny Villanueva

Nothing brings me closer to Paris the way stripes and berets do. I'm a sucker for travel, but sometimes when I'm home I tend to get a little nostalgic for Europe, so I like to incorporate some euro fashion into my everyday looks. Wearing black and white stripes is a classic and timeless fashion statement, I highly doubt they'll ever go out of style. I love this dress because it's polished yet comfortable, perfect for an afternoon stroll. Red is a bold color so my little beret added the perfect touch.

How do you like to style stripes? I'd love to know!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
