Just because your calendar officially says spring doesn't mean that you need to stash away your over-the-knee boots. I mean, unless it's like 95 degrees outside, in which case you should be taking all of your strappy sandals out for a spin. But since it's been changing between cool and warm lately, I decided to pair my grey boots with this silky pastel colored dress. I love the watercolor effect and the hint of floral. Comfy dresses like this one will be in heavy rotation for me this spring.

I hope that you had a great weekend!

Florals for spring, groundbreaking, I know. But seriously, they are a classic spring staple. For today's post, I've partnered with Kohl's to show how I styled this chic floral blouse two ways. For my first look, I kept things chic and sassy pairing a blue pleated skirt with a tan moto jacket. I wanted to keep it light and bright so I added in a sparkly gold statement necklace and a tailored white bag. For my second look, I paired this amazing pink trench with black skinny jeans, printed pumps and a fun scarf. Spring is the perfect time of year to play with prints and color so don't be afraid to mix things up a bit.

Thanks so much for visiting me.

Peplum Trench

Shirt: H&M (similar), Trench: Bebe, Skort: Zara (similar), Bag: Prada, Sunnies: Amazon, Boots: Charles David (similar)

Our weather in LA has been so unpredictable lately. One day it's 90 degrees and the next day it's 70, I kid you not. Little light trench coats like this one make this tricky time of year much more bearable. I paired it with over the knee boots & a skort to keep my look fun and flirty. Sometimes I don't realize how much red I wear, but lately it's become so apparent. It's definitely a color that I gravitate to when shopping or getting dressed.

Do you have a favorite clothing color?

Spotted For Spring

Sweater: Grayson Shop, Shirt: Charlotte Russe, Skirt: Charlotte Russe, Sunnies: Zero UV, Watch: Michael Kors, Earrings: H&M, Shoes: Carvela Kurt Geiger, Pag: Prada

I'm clearly obsessing over flowers & polks dots at the moment. This sweater was just so cute that I had to add an extra pop of polka dots underneath by layering a sleeveless collared shirt. And the pink roses were so pretty (and matched my outfit so well!) that I just couldn't resist. I hope you had a great weekend.

Happy Monday!

Barefoot Weekends

Shirt: Express (old), Skirt: BCBG Max Azria (loving the black version here & white here), Necklaces: Charlotte Russe, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Ann Taylor, Sydney Evan, Anarchy Street, Watch: Michael Kors, Lipstick: Nyx Cosmetics

A flowing maxi, gold jewels, wavy hair & bare feet. Can every weekend be this wonderful and carefree? Boyfriend and I spend almost every weekend in Manhattan Beach. It is one of the most beautiful & calming places to be. The air is cleaner and you can smell the ocean and hear the waves crashing down. Honestly, most days, I stroll around in converse and denim cut-off shorts but this red maxi seemed a bit more appropriate for shooting with Jonny.

I hope you have a beautiful weekend! Happy first day of spring!

Double Stripe

Jacket: Club monaco similar here & here, Shirt: Express (mens), Necklace: Bebe, Pants: Charlotte Russe, Shoes: Qupid, Bag: Morning Lavender, Rings: Charlotte Russe, Earrings: H&M

I am always a fan a good black & white stripe. But when spring rolls around, I find myself wearing them even more often. For this look, I paired a striped button down with my striped jacket and added in a pop of color with blue mules. I'm not sure if you've noticed,  but I love mens button-down shirts! I buy them at various stores (and sometimes steal them from my boyfriend!) and chop the sleeves off. They are amazing for layering. I like them better than women's shirts because the collars are oversized & lay nice and flat. I'm so excited for Spring fashion! Be sure to check out my latest video on Spring Denim Trends
