Ruffles & Trousers

Top: Zara (recent), Pants: Virgos Lounge (on sale), Earrings: Sole Society, Purse: Thrifted, Bracelets: Caché & Charlotte Russe, Ring: Caché, Shoes: Charlotte Russe (also loving)

Happy Monday everyone! Today I'm sharing these fun yellow trousers from London based brand, Virgos Lounge. I was so excited about the jewels that they have around the waist so I just knew that I wanted to pair them with a top that would really showcase them. I added in a feminine white ruffled crop top to make this look even more playful and fun. These pants would be great for a formal occasion or for girls night out. I can't wait to style them lots of different ways!

I hope you have a great day and thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Windswept In White

Dress, Necklace & Purse: Klementine Manhattan Beach Boutique, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe
Photos by: Danny Fung

Wind in your hair, sand between your toes, and the smell of the fresh ocean air. Is there any better way to spend the weekend? Truth is, this set was taken a few weeks back. My friend Crystal reminded me of it when she posted a dreamy Instagram picture under the Manhattan beach pier, where these photos were also taken. Danny Fung and I were lucky to be shooting on a day that was a little bit overcast. For some reason overcast days are almost like the sky has the perfect filter on it. Although, I had to combat the wind, it was still the perfect location to shoot this pretty white maxi dress. I styled it with stacked gold bracelets and a long pendant necklace. And I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I'm smitten with Manhattan Beach.

I hope that you are enjoying a lovely weekend!

Get Out Of Town

Vest: Target, Top: Target (similar), Scarf: Charlotte Russe, Shorts: Klementine Manhattan Beach, Earrings: Nordstrom, Necklaces: Target, Hat: Downtown Style, Tote: Target, Crossbody Bag: Brahmin, Watch: Nordstrom, Bracelets: Charming Charlie & Lola Blue Style, Sunnies: Charlotte Russe, Shoes: ShoeDazzle

For today's look I'm sharing my travel style with you. This past weekend my boyfriend and I took a little impromptu weekend trip to San Diego. Since we were only going for a day and a half I packed light. I used my pretty printed tote to carry some little accessories like my floppy black hat and my favorite printed scarf. A scarf is the perfect travel accessory because they can keep you warm in a pinch and they take up little or no room. Not to mention the fact that they can act as a face shield on germy airplanes (gross!). Also, I usually tend to layer when traveling because it leaves you with options if you get hot or cold. My outer layer is always something tailored like a jacket or a vest while my inner layer is always something soft (preferably wrinkle resistant) and lightweight. I almost always travel in high heels so I look for thinker heeled sandals to give me more stability and I sneak flats into my purse, just in case.

What's your go-to look when traveling?

Pleasant Pastels

Jacket: Liz Claiborne (similar) via JC Penney, Jumpsuit: Miss Guided, Necklace: Nina Shoes, Earrings: H&M,  Ring: Caché, Sunnies: Charlotte Russe, Bag: Sole Society, Shoes: J Crew (also loving)

I must say, wearing head-to-toe pastels makes me feel extra feminine and ladylike. Jumpsuits are a little out of my comfort zone, but I just loved the tailored fit and color of this little number. I kept things simple by adding in just a white clutch, a sparkly statement necklace and jeweled pumps. With temperatures rising in LA, I don't know that I'll be able to wear styles like this for long. Back to twirly midi skirts and flowing sundresses, I guess. But i'm not complaining.

Thank you all so much for reading!

The Lost Files

Shirt: H&M (similar), Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch (similar), Hat: Klementine Manhattan Beach, Earrings: H&M, Necklaces: Mark Girl & Compassion Brands, Shoes: Steve Madden, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Bracelet: Charming Charlie

With lots of different deadlines and blogging projects, it's easy for the outfits that you want to post to slip through the cracks. As sad as it is to admit this post got lost in the scary world that is my photo library. I loved the simplicity of this black and white striped blouse with the distressed denim and classic fedora. I'm not much of a hat girl, but every once in a while I find one that is an exception, this was definitely one of those cases. I added in strappy black sandals and a blue bag to keep this look light and on-trend for summer. Also, this is the first ever photoshoot that I did with Danny Fung. We hit it off right away. Sure he's a great photographer, but he's also become one of my best friends. I feel so lucky to be able to work with him.

That's all for now, I hope that you have a great Monday!

Vintage glamour is all that I could think of when I laid my eyes on the the dreamy collection of dresses at V Label London. Their silky fabrics, bold colors and eye-catching prints make for the perfect guest-at-a-wedding dress or just something extra special for date night. I decided to keep these beauties indoors for a fun editorial style shoot. Since I'm always sharing street style outfits I thought that this could be a fun change of pace. The combination of bright morning light and pleated white curtains provided the perfect backdrop. I'm no model, just a girl with a fashion blog, but it sure is fun sometimes to get all dolled up in hair and makeup to showcase fabulous fashion. Not a bad day at the office.

I hope you are having a great week! It's almost Friday.
