Happy New Years Eve everyone!
I'm so excited to share today's post and video with you! New Years Eve is the one time of year where you don't have to apologize for going all out glamorous in head to toe sequins if you want to. I went for more of a mild approach pairing a sequin blazer with plaid pants and a little red crop top. If you're more of a party dress kind of girl, like me, this silver sparkler is sure to make you feel like the belle of the ball. I paired it with statement earrings and a great cocktail ring before slipping into my bow pumps. My photographer Jonny and I have been working so hard to create fun videos, so I really hope you like it! There's a brief hair pin-curling and smokey eye makeup tutorial followed by lots of sparkly new years eve dress options! Be sure to subscribe to my channel, give the video a thumbs up and share it if you like it!

I'm so thankful for all of you and I am happy that you enjoy reading my blog! Have a wonderful Holiday!

Parisienne Dreams

It's so hard to get back to work after a long fun filled weekend. I hope that you enjoyed your Christmas break with friends and family. Today, I'm excited to share this feminine look with you. I layered a mens shirt (that I cut the sleeves off of) underneath a full-skirted floral dress and topped it off with a bow. I added in a pop of color with blue suede pumps and a little class with a gorgeous black "Paris" crossbody bag. I went to Paris 2 years ago but the memories still replay vividly in my head. I keep hoping to have the chance to go back soon. Fingers crossed that 2015 is the year.

Thank you so much for reading!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today, I want to share this glamorous look that is just perfect for this time of year. When I found this faux fur scarf online, I t knew that it would pair perfectly with my gray wallis fashion coat. It takes this everyday coat and gives it an instant glamorous vibe. I paired it with a white top that has jewels all over it to add a touch of sparkle and a red pencil skirt for a pop of color. Christmas is just 2 days away! I’m so excited to be heading to Michigan to spend the holiday with my boyfriend and his family. Be sure to follow along on Twitter & Instagram for a little peek into my trip. I hope you’re having a great day!

Style Resolutions

Coat: Rachael Rachael Roy, Turtleneck: Target, Jeans: Hudson, Bag: Lulu's, Hat: Shop Katwalk, Scarf: Target, Shoes: Gucci (similar) Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Anarchy Street

I'm so happy to be partnering with Target on another fun post today. As the new year approaches, we all start thinking about what our resolutions will be. While many people will say that they want to take more risks with fashion and try out more trends, my goal will be just the opposite. I love fashion and color and prints and texture, but over the years I've learned that sometimes I can overlook pieces that are beautiful in their minimalism. My style resolution for the new year is to wear more minimalistic outfits and to live by the "less is more" philosophy a little more often. For today's look, I kept Things simple by letting this great coat be the star of the show. I added in a cream colored turtleneck and black skinny jeans to accompany it and topped it off with a cozy black scarf. This look is perfectly minimalistic because there are few pieces but they speak to each other enough to make one cohesive ensemble. I didn't add in a bunch of bells and whistles because I wanted to let each individual piece stand out on its own. Making a quick adjustment to your wardrobe can quickly transform your mood, so don't be shy about setting your own style resolutions and sticking to them. 2015 is going to be a very chic year!

Dressed In Tweed

Jacket: Dear Creatures, Dress: Miss Guided, Shirt: True Religion, Earrings: Deb Shops, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Shoes: Prada (also loving these beauties), Bag: Prada
Photos by: Jonny Villanueva
Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner? I feel like just yesterday was November, but now it's only a short 10 days away! That means lots of holiday parties, last minute shopping, and finishing up all of the decorations. For this look, I wanted to style a work appropriate outfit. Whether it's for the company holiday soirée or just a festive outfit to wear on the days leading up to Christmas, I thought that this red checkered dress was perfect for the holiday season. I layered a white button down underneath to add a contrasting collar and because it's just oh-so-perfect for this time of year. I topped it off with this super chic tweed jacket and a structured black tote. Add in a few sparkles with silver pumps and a sparkly statement necklace and you're ready for Old Saint Nick.
