Happy Monday!
It was a long but fun weekend for me spent in Napa Valley celebrating the wedding of dear friends. Weddings have a way of making you nostalgic. This unavoidable romance fills the air and everyone gets kind of warm and fuzzy. I'm a hopeless romantic so I have felt nothing but love in the air for the past 4 days, it's such a wonderful feeling. In keeping with the theme, I thought that I would share another look that I wore during my time in NYC. Danny and I arrived in the city two days before the fashion week madness began so that we could explore and shoot in some of our favorite neighborhoods. TriBeCa, which I learned stands for Triangle Below Canal (so cool!) was by far my favorite. There were cool restaurants and pubs on every corner and the charm of the city streets provided for the perfect backdrop. I styled this flirty look with my favorite ruffled skirt and a fall-approved floral top. I added in silver bow pumps and a black crossbody to keep things casual but a little glamorous.

I hope that you have a great Monday!

Happy Thursday everyone!
For today's look, I decided to go all out fall. To be honest, I really miss blazers, leather pants and booties so I decided to pull out this combo even though it's still scorching hot. I couldn't resist these pretty burgundy booties any longer, they're just so sleek and chic. I paired them with a basic black and white ensemble to allow them to be the star of the show. Also, I thought that this "heavily meditated" Stylestalker tee was just too cute, I couldn't help myself.

I hope you have a great Friday!

There's something about being in New York and at New York fashion week that just makes you want to think a little outside of the box when it comes to getting dressed. I for one, get kind of nervous as the countdown to fashion week gets closer. I start to think "what am I going to wear!?" I don't want to wear things that I would wear on just any day, because it's fashion week! You kind of have to bring it. With that being said, I immediately though of designer Mimi Plange. Her designs are nothing short of brilliant. She knows what the modern woman wants to wear and knows how to execute it seamlessly. Using her gorgeous designs, I styled 2 looks that made my heart smile. For the first one, I paired a white exaggerated peplum top with a blue leather skater skirt for a double dose of peplum prettiness. I then added in strappy white sandals and a bold pink lip to kick things up a notch. In the second look I went twirling around Brooklyn in this flowing floral trench coat. I paired it with feminine pink trousers and a white crop top to play with different hemlines and to keep this look fun and flirty. It's not everyday that you find a designer who just gets you, but Mimi Plange certainly does.

Happy last day of summer!

Happy Friday!
I just wanted to share this look from my last day in NYC. This dress made me feel so polished and glamorous all day and it was perfect for pairing with these chic hot pink pumps. I kept my accessories simple adding in just a white bag and simple gold accessories.

I hope you have a great weekend!
