Fall Floral

Dress (worn as skirt): Stella & Jamie c/o, Shirt: J Crew, Blazer: J Crew (on sale here), Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Charming Charlie, In Pink c/o, Watch: Michael Kors, Bag: Charlotte Russe, Shoes: Charlotte Russe, Lipstick: Milani "Naturally Chic"

Happy Monday everyone!
For today's look, I paired a camel colored blazer with a floral shirt, and a cobalt blue (dress worn as) skirt. This dress by Stella & Jamie is one of my favorite new wardrobe additions because it's so versatile. It's body-hugging fabric makes it perfect for layering, so I just know that I'll get a lot of wears out of it this fall. But don't let the layers fool you, this dress is sexy yet elegant and perfect for a night out on the town. Be sure to check back on (next) Friday to see how I take this pretty little number from day to night.

I hope you have a wonderful Monday! Thanks for reading!

BCBG Neil Print Jacket

Jacket: BCBG Max Azria, Crop Top: Via Fashion of Echo, Skirt: ASOS (loving this option), Necklace: London Flea Market, earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe, Bag: Urban Exchange, Shoes: Gucci (similar here), Lipstick: Vincent Longo c/o (definitely a favorite new shade for fall)

When I first spotted this BCBG Jacket I just knew that I needed to own it. Sure, BCBG is one of my favorite brands, but that wasn't why I was so in love with it. Could it be the shoulder pads? Or the moto style juxstaposed by the feminine floral pattern? Whatever the reason, I am positively smitten. It will live happily in my closet beside my other blazers. I can't wait to style it with a cream colored flowing maxi dress or maybe with a pop of neon.

Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for reading!

So Long, Summer

Top: American Eagle, Skirt: Vintage (thrifted in Paris) loving this floral option, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Earrings: Vintage, Sunglasses: Charlotte Russe c/o Bracelets: TJ Maxx, Gorjana Griffin c/o, Charming Charlie, Watch: Michael Kors, Clutch: Sole Society c/o, Ring: Cache, Shoes: Charlotte Russe c/o, Lipstick: Mac "Russian Red" (buy it here), Nails: Essie "Twin Sweater Set" c/o

Goodbye, so long, sayonara, farewell, adios!
Summer is one of my favorite seasons for so many reasons. Sure, I could do without the 95+ degree temperatures, but with it comes so much beauty. Flowers are at their peak, the sun sets later, and denim cut off shorts takeover the streets of Los Angles. All in all, it's so wonderful that it seems impossible to say goodbye. But with fall comes the changing of the leaves, layering, boots, hats, and gloves. And after what seems like months of reoccurring heat waves, I'm certainly ready for cooler weather. I decided to pull out a light and bright look to say a final farewell. It's complete with one of my favorite full skirts that I thrifted in Paris for only 5 Euros! Wearing it always brings back fond memories.

I hope you have enjoyed summer as much as I have. Have a great Wednesday!

The Fall Transition

Dress: Trina Turk, Jacket: Charlotte Russe (also loving this studded option) c/o, Earrings: H&M, Sunglasses: Charlotte Russe c/o, Bracelets: In Pink c/o & Charlotte Russe, Watch: Timex c/o, Bag: JustFab c/o, Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Now that it is officially fall (as of Sunday), I figured it's time to start thinking about how I'm going to transition some of my favorite summer pieces into my fall wardrobe. Last week, I pulled out a silky printed summer dress to wear for a busy day of errands. I felt like I needed to add something to break up the pattern a little and to put more of a fall spin on it, so I enlisted the help of a tan (faux) leather jacket. The jacket is light enough that it won't keep me too hot (the weather hasn't really changed yet), while the texture is perfect for the changing seasons.

Have you started thinking about how to transition your summer wardrobe to fall?

Also, I am so excited to be participating in a fashion show with some other LA bloggers to showcase designer Bri Seeley's  S/S 14 collection! The show is on October 10th at 8pm and you can buy tickets here! I hope to see you there!

Thank you so much for visiting!

A Mustard Peplum For Work or Play

Top: Torn By Ronny Kobo (loving this green version) thanks to VPR, Skirt 1: Free People (on sale here), Necklace: TJ Maxx, Earrings: Vintage, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe, Gorjana Griffin c/o, In Pink c/o, Bag: Vintage, Shoes: Charlotte Russe (also loving this pair) c/o
Look 2: Skirt: Vintage (similar here), Earrings: Vintage, Necklace: Forever 21 (old), Watch: Timex c/o, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe, Gorjana Griffin c/o, In Pink c/o, Shoes: Charlotte Russe c/o, Bag: Louis Vuitton, Nails: Essie "Twin Sweater Set" c/o, Lips: Mac "Russian Red"

When I first laid eyes on this pretty mustard Torn by Ronny Kobo peplum top, I knew that it would be the perfect fall wardrobe staple. And for the short time that I've owned it, I have already styled it so many different ways. Today, I  wanted to share a playful look and one that is more office appropriate. First, I paired it with an a-line leopard skirt to create a double peplum illusion and added in black patent leather pumps, a chic shoulder bag, and a spiked necklace to give it more of an edgy feel. Then, I swapped out the spikes for pearls, the leopard for a leather pencil skirt, and the black pumps for a nude alternative. I topped it all off with a chic tote and a sophisticated watch.

Which look is your favorite?

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have a great Monday!

Fuchsia Flow

Vest: Forever 21 (old), Jeans: Rag & Bone, Top: BCBG, Necklace: Via Farfax Flea Market, Bracelets: Gorjana Griffin c/o, Charming Charlie, & Crossroads Trading c/o, Shoes: Luichiny c/o, Sunnies: Chloe via Ditto c/o, Earrings: H&M, Bag: Charlotte Russe
Photos by: Melanee

A flowing fuchsia vest, distressed denim, and chic cap toe pumps make up today's easy breezy look. Sometimes, it's nice to just slip on a great pair of jeans, a cross body bag, and a few gold accessories and step out the door.
The distressed denim says relaxed and casual, while the flowing vest adds a bit of a more dressed up vibe.
Most days my uniform consists of a skirt or dress, but today's look was a welcome change.

I hope that you are having a great week so far. Thanks so much for visiting!

A Little Polka

Shirt: J Crew (on sale here), Skirt: The Limited (on sale here) c/o, Bracelets: In Pink c/o & Charlotte Russe, Earrings: H&M, Necklace: Isaiah Garza c/o, Bag: Valeria Smith, Shoes: Manolo Blahnik (available here)

Today's look was styled around this pretty polka dot skirt. I wanted to put a fun spin on it so I paired it with a subtly spotted shirt, green suede pumps, and a giant statement necklace (also seen here). This necklace, by the way, is easily one of the most beautiful statement necklaces that I have ever seen. You know that saying "less is more"? Well this piece, by the talented Isaiah Garza, screams "more is more". I love it.

I hope you are having a wonderful week. Thanks so much for reading!

Gingham Girl

Top: Lush via Fashion of Echo Boutique, Skirt: H&M (old), Jacket: Zara, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Gorjana Griffin c/o & Charming Charlie, Watch: Vintage, Shoes: Charlotte Russe c/o, Bag: Michael Kors

Happy Monday!
For Today's look, I wore a blue gingham skirt with a yellow checkered jacket. I loved the idea of matching the checkered prints together and I'm always a fan of pairing yellow with blue. Although, I'm excited for faux fur, boots, and layering, I sure will miss all of my pretty summer clothes. You can bet that I'll be "transitioning" as many items as possible into my fall wardrobe.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
