On Thursday morning, I hopped a plane to Boston and have been touring around New England ever since. I grew up in Maryland and Pennsylvania so it's always nice to see the lush greenery all around me. That's one of the things I miss most now that I live in Southern California. We had a quick stopover in Boston (see pictures here), where it was raining pretty much from start to finish, but that didn't detract from the beautiful city streets. Since it almost never rains in LA, I really enjoyed it, although it's not ideal for picture taking.

On Friday afternoon, we took a road trip to Vermont, making our way to the beautiful and quaint town of Woodstock. We then made our way to New Hampshire to see my boyfriend's old college campus. Dartmouth was such a beautiful place and the little town of Hanover was truly a sight to behold.

Now we'll be spending our last few days in Vermont's Lake Champlain region. No more touring, just lounging and relaxing lakeside. The perfect way to end our trip.

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you've enjoyed a great weekend and a happy Father's Day!

  1. I have never been to the east coast, but I have always wanted to go. Especially to Boston. I can only imagine how idyllic it is. The old brick buildings, greenery, and small town feel. You don't get too much of that in California! Love your photos! <3
