I have wanted to wear this skirt since the day that I laid eyes on it, I mean, what's not to love about layers of tulle? I wasn't sure if I would add a little juxtaposition by adding a chambray button up, or if I should just go all out feminine chic. As you can see I chose the latter. I just love a good silk blouse and this Jil Sander beauty is no exception. It pairs nicely with almost anything.

Jean jackets are such a great wardrobe staple. They can be dressed up or down and they act as the perfect accompaniment to almost any outfit. I know that I don't do a whole lot of casual looks so today I decided to change that and throw in a little weekend wear! I haven't been able to do many weekend posts lately because I have been working around the clock! It's a little exhausting but it's wonderful to be able to do what I love most -- styling.
Also, if you follow me on Facebook you may already know that I have a really amazing collaboration coming up with designer Octavio Carlin! I will be styling the holiday ensembles for their upcoming lookbook! I'm so excited for the opportunity to work with such an amazingly talented designer.

This dress makes me so happy. Like the all-day giggles and smiles, kind of happy. I'm not sure if it's the print or the pretty pleated skirt, but either way it is by far one of my favorite purchases of the season. I plan on taking it from day to night by swapping out my jewelry for sparkly diamonds and switching my nude pumps out for black sky high heels.
I hope you have a great weekend!

I am a self-proclaimed tweed addict and today I just couldn't resist! After having a nine west gift card sitting in my wallet for far too long, I finally decided to use it to fill the leopard shoe void that I had in my closet. These lovelies are a wonderful new addition and I can't wait to pair them with colored wool trousers! Nothing says fall quite like leopard and tweed.

Today I embraced the crisp fall weather by pairing a pretty tweed jacket with the perfect burgundy dress. I love how the embellished neckline on this jacket is like a built-in necklace! And I just love the way this skirt moves in the breeze. Burgundy, or ox blood, if you will, is having a major moment and I'm loving it. What fall trends are you loving?
I hope you are having a great week so far! Thanks for reading.

I absolutely love matching skirt and pantsuits, especially when they're printed. So what better way to celebrate my 200th blog post ?! I am so excited to have come this far with my little fashion blog. I never thought that it could make me so incredibly happy. What started out as just a creative outlet has quickly become a way for me to showcase one of the things that I am most passionate about, fashion and styling. And not to mention all of the wonderful people I have met along the way. Thank you all so much for coming along on this journey with me and for all of your incredible support, I really appreciate it!

I have been really loving animal prints lately. I'm not sure if it's just because of the change in season and the fact that we are slowly hanging up our florals and pastels (well, some of us) and switching to earth tones. Or if it's just the fact that I am starting to love them more. Either way, I decided to pair this pretty python pencil skirt with chic wear-to-work staples and my new Tahari pumps that I also picked up while I was at TJ Maxx, I just love the gold hardware. Pairing a trendy item with tailored staples is a great way to stay on trend while still being office appropriate.

I have never met a contrasting collar that I didn't love! Although I must admit, I prefer sweaters and shirts with built-in faux collars because it minimizes bulkiness. However, I decided to create my own by adding a crisp white button down underneath. I paired my tomato red sweater with a mustard BCBG bandage skirt. A few of the hottest colors of the season in one easy look.
Also in case you were wondering, today as I was rushing out the door to snap some pictures I couldn't help but notice that my chair went so nicely with my outfit, so I decided to pose with it!
I hope your week is going great so far! Thanks for stopping by!
|Dress: Alfani, Scarf: Vintage, Belt: Zara, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Gifted & DIY, Sunnies: Burberry, Shoes: BCBG Generation, Bag: Prada|
As you already know, I am huge fan of graphic prints and all things black and white. Today I decided to wear this pretty Alfani dress with a chain print scarf and gold accessories. Since it's not quite scarf weather yet I had to ditch it and let the little beauty dangle from my bag.

Today I put together a ladylike ensemble starting with this skirt that I picked up from TJ Maxx for a steal! I'm so in love with that store. I originally went in to find some pretty little festive goodies to accent my apartment. I ended up finding so many great things! Although I told myself I wasn't allowed to buy any clothes, I then spotted this pretty skirt for a cool ten dollars! I just couldn't pass it up. I mean, come on, it's lace appliqué. I decided to pair it with a favorite polka dot blouse and structured blush-colored staples.

I love that I am finally able to pull out these pretty white trousers. They are fully lined so they need slightly lower temps. I paired them with a bright yellow sweater for a much need Friday pick-me-up, and a green belt for a little unexpected pop of color. I'm-oh-so ready for the weekend!
I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for reading!

Today it rained. I know what you're thinking, big deal. In LA, it kind of is. I woke up to the peaceful sound of rain for the first time in months. Sure the lovely pitter patter was short lived but the chill remained long after. It finally feels like fall and I decided to welcome the season with one of my favorite blazers and some pretty pastels that I borrowed from spring.
