Dress: Vintage (altered), Earrings: Forever 21, Bag: Gianni Bernini, Shoes: Christian Louboutin
This Saturday I had the chance to go to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in downtown Los Angeles to view the La Boheme Opera. It was a wonderful experience, and I always love an occasion to get all dolled up. Since it was a matinee I was so unsure of what I should wear. I did a little research scouring the web and although I wanted to break out my red beaded floor length gown, I just knew it would be too evening-wear-ish. I thought that this lovely black dress with its delicate lace and pearl back was a happy marriage between fancy and matinee. I did see a few floor long dresses but most of them were mid length. If you ever have the chance to go to the Opera, you should definitely take advantage of it!

You look fabulous. When reading your descriptions of your outfits, it’s almost as if you were writing during the 1940's fashion era for Bazaar Magazine.
