Fit and Flare

Dress: ASOS, Coat: ASOS, Tights: Target, Necklace: J Crew, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Purse: Gianni Bernini, Shoes: Gucci

I know, I know, another full skirt. What can I say, it's an addiction. I couldn't help that this gorgeous fit and flare dress was speaking to me this morning. It was perfect for today's cold chilly weather -- paired with tights, of course.

A Skirt Made for Twirling

Sweater, Scarf, Belt, Bracelets, and Ring: Forever 21, Skirt: Vintage (dress worn as Skirt), Bag: Alfani, Watch: Michael Kors, Earrings: H&M, Shoes: Enzo Angiolini

I paired this lovely blue skirt (dress worn as skirt) with a neutral tan sweater, adding a scarf with like colors to tie the whole look together. With a touch of gold accessories and my pink Enzo Angiolini bow shoes, I'm ready for the day.

Black and White

Sweater: Ross, Pants: Zara, Scarf: New York Street Vendor, Bag: Michael by Michael Kors, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Kessaris Quartz, Shoes: Gucci

I am partial to black and white pieces in my wardrobe. I find that they exude chicness and are incredibly easy to wear. Not to mention their versatility when paired together or standing alone. I mixed black and white stripes with black and white hounds tooth and then added teal pants and a red lip for a little color.

Fancy Oscar Sunday

Dress: Vintage (Via Fairfax Flea Market), Shoes: Christian Louboutin, Bag and Blazer: Vintage, Stole: ASOS, Earrings: A mall shop in Palm Springs

Today was Oscar sunday, and I had the honor of attending a lovely Academy Awards viewing party. Since there was a red carpet dress code, we were all able to get all glammed up. I wore this gorgeous dress that I picked up at the fairfax flea market! I wish I had fancy parties to go to every weekend. We played games, ate delicious food, and sat around in fancy dresses. What could be better?

GAP Be Bright Event Featuring Who What Wear

Jacket: J Crew, Skirt: Ann Taylor, Cami: H&M, Shoes: Ivanka Trump, Earrings, Bracelets, and Ring: Forever 21, Watch: Michael Kors, Clutch: Vintage

I was able to snap a few pictures with fellow blogger Dulce of Dulce Candy. You can visit her blog here.

And I saw some lovely gals that I met a few weeks back when I took classes at The School of Style (The classes were amazing and I learned so much. You can sign up for them here). Jammie of Faithfully Fabulous, a fellow blogger (tweet her @vafashiongirl). And Jessica (tweet her @TheStyleFront).

The ladies of Who What Wear put on a fabulous event at GAP. It was great to have a chance to meet so many bloggers, and to see everyone come out in their favorite brights. I was thrilled to have a chance to meet the co-founders, Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr. Yes, they are as sweet as they are stylish.

Royal Violet & Houndstooth

Blouse and Necklace: J Crew, Skirt and Clutch: Vintage, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Kessaris Quartz, Shoes: Gucci

Silk blouses make up the majority of my work "uniforms". They are the epitome of ease, comfort, and total chicness. I have quite the collection. However, this Royal violet one takes the cake. Paired with my vintage houndstooth pencil skirt, they are a match made in work attire heaven.

A Pop of Color (Part 2)

Blouse: Zara, Pants: Banana Republic, Scarf: Vintage, Bag: Gianni Bernini, Bracelets: Forever 21, Earrings: H&M, Shoes: Gucci

The first day back to work after a long weekend is always tough. What gets me out of the rut? Why, a great scarf, of course. This Zara top is actually a bow blouse. I added this great red scarf for a pop of color (see my A Pop of Color Part 1 post here). What you can't see is that the scarf is tied with the long hanging pieces of the bow. That helps it to stay in place all day. Tricky, I know.

The Long Weekend Wardrobe

Dress: ASOS, Blazer: Vintage, Scarf: Yves Saint Laurent, Earrings: H&M, Ring: Forever 21, Bag: Prada, Shoes: Steve Madden

Ah, the little black dress, ever gal needs one. This dress always gets me out of the house quick when I realize that I am running short on time. Not to mention the fact that I already know it has a great fit and is easily accessorized. In a jam? Reach for the perfect LBD. This look was great for dinner with girlfriends!

On our way to La Jolla, boyfriend and I stopped in Del Mar to grab lunch. And to snap a few pictures, of course.

Sweater: Ann Taylor Loft, Shirt: H&M, Jeans: Abbey Dawn, Coat: Ann Taylor, Shoes: Zara, Bag: Prada, Earrings: Vintage, Bracelets and Ring: Forever 21

Casually Ladylike

Jacket: Eurochic Boutique, Shirt: Forever 21, Skirt: BCBG, Earrings: Forever 21, Headband: J Crew, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: J Crew (necklace worn as bracelet), Clutch: Michael Kors, Laptop Case: Bueno (Via Ross), Shoes: Steve Madden

I'm a big fan of the BCBG power skirts. The way they are constructed is so genius because they really hold you in and give you a great silhouette. Also, one can never go wrong with an oxford button up. Paired together the two are a nice mix of casual and ladylike. Add a pretty pink jacket and some feminine accessories and you are ready for your day.
